Terms and Conditions

Last updated 27 May 2026

We have aimed to make our Terms and Conditions as clear and straightforward as possible, giving you all the essential information about your transactions so you fully understand the process from placing your order through to delivery and beyond. Your shopping experience matters to us, so we encourage you to take a few minutes to read through them. Please note that you will need to accept our Terms and Conditions each time you make a purchase, as they may be updated from time to time.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

In these Terms and Conditions, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Mac Store UK. "You" and "your" refer to the purchaser of goods from us. "Goods" means any products you order from us.

Product Information and Availability

All refurbished Apple products sold through Mac Store UK have been thoroughly tested and graded according to industry standards. Product listings include a condition grade and description that accurately reflects the physical and functional state of each device. Please read the product description and grading information carefully before placing your order.

While we strive to provide accurate product descriptions, images are for illustrative purposes only and minor cosmetic variations may exist within the stated grade. We cannot guarantee that all information is entirely complete or error-free and we reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies.

Product availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities and discontinue products at any time. Mac Store UK is an independent retailer of refurbished Apple products. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Apple Inc. Apple, Mac, MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable

Please note that some refurbished products may be sold under the VAT Margin Scheme, in which case VAT is not separately itemised or recoverable. Where applicable, this will be indicated on the relevant product listing. If you require a standard VAT invoice for business purposes, please confirm VAT status with us before placing your order

Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but once your order is confirmed, the price is fixed

Payment must be received in full before products are dispatched

We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout

All transactions are processed securely through our payment partners. Full card details are not stored by us

Orders and Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed and a further notification when it has been dispatched.

A contract between you and us is formed when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation. The order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in the following circumstances: where a product is found to be unavailable after your order is placed; where a pricing or product description error has occurred; where we are unable to verify your payment; or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of any payment taken.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Standard UK delivery: 2–3 business days
  • Express delivery: Next working day (order before 2pm on a business day)
  • Free standard delivery on all orders above £250
  • Delivery charges for any upgraded services are calculated at checkout
  • Signed-for delivery is required for all orders
  • We currently deliver to UK mainland addresses only

We will deliver your order within 30 days of the contract being formed unless otherwise agreed. If we are unable to meet this timeframe, we will contact you and you will be entitled to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

If your order arrives damaged, not in the condition described, or appears to be lost, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@macstoreuk.com. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Please ensure you back up any existing data on a device before returning it to us for any reason, including warranty repair. We are not responsible for any data loss that occurs during the return, repair, or replacement process.

Cancellation Rights (Distance Selling)

As you are purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

You may cancel your order without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods (the "cooling-off period"). To exercise this right, you must inform us clearly of your decision to cancel before the 14-day period has expired, by emailing info@macstoreuk.com or writing to us at the address below.

Following cancellation, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to cancel. You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the item is faulty or not as described.

We will issue a full refund of the product price and standard delivery charges within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been returned (whichever is earlier). Refunds will be made using the same payment method as your original purchase.

Please note that we may reduce your refund to reflect any diminished value of the goods if this is caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them (i.e. handling beyond what you would be permitted in a shop).

Returns and Refunds

In addition to your statutory cancellation rights above, we offer a 30-day returns window from the date of delivery for change-of-mind returns. Items must be returned in their original condition with all accessories and any included packaging.

Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Where a return is due to a fault, misdescription, or damage caused by us, we will cover the cost of return shipping and issue a full refund or replacement at no additional charge.

Refunds for returns received within our 30-day window will be processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving the item and confirming its condition. All refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Your Statutory Rights — Consumer Rights Act 2015

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. These are your statutory rights and exist independently of any warranty we offer.

Within the first 30 days of delivery: If your product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have the right to a full refund under the short-term right to reject. Please contact us at info@macstoreuk.com as soon as possible.

Between 30 days and 6 months from delivery: If a fault develops, we are entitled to attempt one repair or replacement. If this is unsuccessful, or not possible, you are entitled to a refund (which may be reduced to account for use). Within this period, it is presumed the fault existed at the time of delivery unless we can demonstrate otherwise.

After 6 months from delivery: You retain the right to a repair, replacement, or partial refund, but the burden of proof that the fault was present at delivery rests with you.

These rights apply to hardware defects and do not affect our separate warranty terms below.

Warranty Coverage

  • All products include a minimum 12-month hardware warranty from the date of delivery
  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions
  • Software issues, user-caused damage, accidental damage, and liquid damage are not covered
  • Cosmetic wear consistent with the product's stated grading description is not covered
  • Faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear, or any unauthorised modification or repair will invalidate the warranty
  • Warranty repair or replacement is at our discretion, with replacement goods of equal or greater specification where applicable
  • Original proof of purchase (order number or invoice) is required for all warranty claims
  • Our warranty is provided by Mac Store UK and is separate from any Apple manufacturer's warranty that may apply

To make a warranty claim, please contact us at info@macstoreuk.com with your order details and a description of the issue. We will aim to diagnose and resolve issues remotely where possible before requesting a return.
