Every device in the Sticker Marked Outlet has visible discolouration in its finish where stickers or asset labels were once applied. The stickers have been removed and the surface cleaned — there is no residue and nothing left stuck on. What remains is a “ghost” of the sticker: an outline, a lighter or darker patch, or a shadow in the paint. You can see it in normal light.
A genuine example: a MacBook Air lid after the stickers were removed and the surface cleaned. The outlines and shading are in the finish itself.
What it means, and what it does not
It is not a sticker. Nothing is left on the device — no residue, no adhesive, no label.
It is purely cosmetic. The screen, keyboard, trackpad and everything inside are graded, tested and covered exactly as on the rest of the store.
It does not change the grade. The grade after the word Stickered is the same cosmetic grade we use everywhere else, judged on the rest of the device.
It does not change the cover. 12-month warranty, Phonecheck certification and 30-day returns are identical to the main store.
It is why the price is lower. These devices are priced below the equivalent clean grade.
The three grades
Stickered Excellent
Sticker ghosting on an otherwise clean, unmarked body.
Apart from the sticker marking, the device is in our Excellent condition: minimal, barely noticeable faint scratches or scuffs, if any. Screen, keyboard and body otherwise near-premium.
Stickered Good
Sticker ghosting plus light marks on the casing.
Apart from the sticker marking, the device is in our Good condition: visible but light signs of use, such as small scratches or scuffs, with nothing that affects how it works.
Stickered Fair
Heavier sticker residue and shadowing in the finish.
Apart from the sticker marking, the device is in our Fair condition: noticeable scratches, scuffs or dents may be present on the surface, screen or keyboard. Fully functional.
Photographs are typical examples, not the item you receive. Where a device is sticker marked we always say so on the listing.
Common questions
Will the mark come off? No. The stickers are already removed and the surface cleaned. What remains is in the finish itself, so it will not clean or polish out.
Is the warranty the same? Yes. 12-month warranty, Phonecheck certified, 30-day returns — identical to everything else we sell.
Will I see the marks on my actual device before I buy? Every outlet listing carries a typical example photograph. If you would like photographs of the specific device you are buying, contact us before you order and we will send them.
